Dubai Miracle Garden.
Turns out you can bring the life in the dead sands, completely transform the boring sceneries. And it’s not just about the financial possibilities. The most important is a dream and the desire to make it come true.

Dubai Miracle Garden.
A Desert Surprise

Dubai Miracle Garden is a man-made flower park in the heart of the lifeless desert. First time I saw this miracle on the Internet and its vibrancy and size astonished me. I dreamt of going there to make beautiful pictures. Upon coming to Dubai I waited for the opening of the second phase for several months (the Miracle Garden closes down for summer, as the flowers cannot resist extremely high temperatures).

And finally a long-awaited opening! The road to the flower oasis goes through featureless grayish sand. Green plantings appear after about twenty minutes ride from the Sheik Zayed Road. Bushes in fictile tubs closely stand along the road, hinting that soon, very soon the main thing will come into view.

And it does. We are here! The tight-growing vegetation surrounds the wide parking. We are off to buy tickets. The price for one is 30 dirham. The ticketing office is next to a high wall decorated with colorful primroses. The “Miracle Garden” inscription in a form of a flower composition looks lovely. We take out our cameras, enter, breath in.

And of course the “wows!” come right away. Across the main entrance is a flower alley that consists of high heart-shaped arches. They look spectacular! The scented alley leads to a hill with a huge dial made of scarlet flowers. The whole composition easily reads “time for love”. Though I admit that the author might have had another idea in mind.

You want to touch everything, make sure it’s not a mirage. Or omnipresent plastic? Hearing the sharp whistle of the security makes me withdraw my hand. Though I already managed to feel the freshness of the smoothest petals. Everything in the park is real, except for the lawns in the places with most traffic: at the park entrances. And I like this healthy pragmatism too: the living grass won’t survive the visitors. The real grass in the park is thoroughly fenced off.

After expressing strong emotions, we go on with the exposition. Here “cruise” the ships with sales in the colors of the national flag of the UAE. And here is an enormous eagle – the coat of arms of the Emirates. Then come waterfalls (or better flowerfalls) pouring tons of flowers. Then the flower copy of Burj Khalifa, the highest skyscraper in the world.

Miracle Garden is in the Guinness Book being the largest man-made flower park in the world. It is nice that everything here is visitor-friendly. All across the park there are multiple arbors and benches. The funniest in my opinion are the small benches with butterfly wings: the parents like to make the cutest pictures of their kids with those. Also are interesting the benches with flower clouds-sheds: a shadow, and freshness, and a pleasant scent.

The park has many coffee shops, where you can cozy up in the shade of loaches, with an ice cream or a cup of coffee. There is a children’s’ corner, where the small ones can see the funny figurines of domestic animals and birds (even the adults smile when seeing a happy cow).

Dubai Miracle Garden. What does a person feel when coming to this magical place? First of all the admiration for the greatness of a man-creator!
