The American Dream is a sign of infinity woven into the very fabric of life. The loops of fate are wonderfully linked. In them, ups and downs are shaped less by outside events and more by an inner desire to achieve.

2025 GCAT AMERICAS. THE LAND REDISCOVERED

The American coast felt distant and unknown when I began to pick up material for this story—simply a blank page.

I have studied sixty champions from the 2025 GCAT Americas, fifty successful breeders and forty-six happy owners of champions. In putting together these portraits of the members, I had to dive headfirst into the depths to discover the tales of triumph of these remarkable persons—Arabian horse breeders and owners from the States, Brazil, Ecuador, Uruguay, and Mexico.

It was a wonderful deep dive. In the beginning, what were simply the names of farms—Royal Arabians, Aria International, Orrion Farm, Haras Vila Dos Pinheiros—suddenly became a living picture of achievements.

It was also a pleasure to meet famous names from our native coast: Qatar’s Al Shaqab, the UAE’s Al Bidayer, Saudi Arabia’s Akmal, Poland’s Bialka, and a few others besides. Their presence here is not extensive but notable.

Never once have I been to the New World, nor is a visit likely soon, but the feeling is that a return has been made from an amazing journey. The invitation is open for you to join this personal discovery of America.

In 2025, one of the most prestigious Arabian horse championships worldwide — the Global Champions Arabians Tour— expanded its geography by inviting Arabian horse breeders and owners from the American continent. This gave a chance for the two sides of the Earth to get to know each other better, appreciate their potential, and establish new, lasting connections.

For America, this is a chance to introduce itself to the Old World in a new way: to showcase the achievements of modern American breeding, training, and show horses at the highest level. For Europe and the Middle East, this is an opportunity to rediscover the land where the Arabian horse has flourished for a century.

Starting in 2025, the GCAT Americas expanded to include countries in both North and South America.
The 2025 American part of the Tour was planned to take place in three countries: the United States, Brazil, and Canada. A little later, it was decided to change the venue from Brandon, Canada, to Denver, USA.

As a result, the American part of the tour was held in the following cities:
• Scottsdale, Arizona, United States (February 18 and 20, 2025);
• Miami, Florida, United States (April 17-19, 2025);
• Sao Paulo, Brazil (July 13-14, 2025);
• Denver, Colorado, United States (August 8-9, 2025);
• Las Vegas, Nevada, United States of America (September 26-28, 2025).

Locations for the GCAT Americas 2025

1. THE CITY TENT, WESTWORLD, SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA, USA

The City Tent is part of the larger WestWorld complex, home to the world's largest annual Arabian horse show. The Scottsdale championship was founded in 1955, and 2025 marks the 70th anniversary season. The start of the American leg of the tour in such a historic location as Scottsdale helped immediately introduce many of America's leading Arabian horse owners and breeders to the world.

2. MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, USA

This was arguably the most glamorous venue of the 2025 GCAT Americas, surpassing all other tour stages in its powerful, dynamic energy and "aroma of luxury in the air." A special arena was built specifically for the event in Miami Beach on the seashore. The show was positioned not just as an equestrian event, but also as a cultural event celebrating Arabian horse elegance against the backdrop of the famous beaches.

Palm trees, the azure waters of Florida, members of Middle Eastern royal families in summer European attire in the VIP section, and alongside them were the event's very special guests, including the founder of Amazon, the multi-billionaire Jeff Bezos, one of the wealthiest people in the world. Sometimes it seemed that the main characters—the Arabian horses—were just for decoration, as all attention was focused on the invited world-wide celebrities. And in the evening, Sting himself appeared at the Miami venue and sang his hits under the starry sky... As they say in boxing: 'Eight, nine, out!'

3. HELVETIA EQUESTRIAN CENTER, INDIATUBA, SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL
The Brazilian stage of the 2025 GCAT Americas was the third. It was held at the specialised Helvetia Equestrian Centre (Helvetia is the old Latin name for Switzerland, brought to Brazil during the period of colonisation).

Brazil has a vibrant community of Arabian horse breeders, owners, and enthusiasts. The event brought together over 100 purebred Arabian horses, mostly of Brazilian breeding. As per tradition, the organisers transformed the venue into a colourful and lively festival, set in the vibrant colours of the Land.

4. WESTERN NATIONAL COMPLEX, DENVER, COLORADO, USA
Another unique and exciting venue for the 2025 GCAT Americas. Denver is the heart of the American West, where the spirit of the free prairies still feels in the air, and cowboy culture remains alive.

The Western National Complex is renowned for its century-long history of hosting large-scale cattle shows and rodeos. Many guests enjoyed donning cowboy hats.

5. WYNN WEST LOT, LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, USA
The final stage of the 2025 GCAT Americas took place in another legendary city in the United States – Las Vegas, the world capital of gambling and entertainment.

The grand finale of the GCAT Americas was held at the Wynn West Lot, a large land plot for major events located on the famous Las Vegas Strip, directly across from the main Wynn and Encore resorts. At the start of the competition, a storm blew away all the construction materials on the beautifully decorated arena. But the organisers and staff managed to overcome it: everything was quickly restored and a spectacular finale was held. Impressive concerts by stars were held alongside the competition.

All in all, the American debut was memorable, even for those who weren't in the stands but simply watched the online stream.

BEST RESULTS OF THE GCAT AMERICAS 2025

Despite some impressive victories, no single champion managed to secure the full set of awards. This was due to the immense scale of the American continent and the associated logistical challenges.

Thus, a notable feature of the GCAT Americas 2025 was the virtual absence of American champions competing in Brazil, and of Brazilian champions competing in the USA stages.

Results of the 2025 GCAT Americas: 60 champion horses, 90 medals.

A third of all medals (31 medals out of 90) were won by nine champion horses:

• 4 horses have 4 medals out of 5 (16)
• 5 horses have 3 medals out of 5 (15)

About 66% of the medals were won by 51 horses (59 medals out of 90):

• 8 horses have 2 medals out of 5 (16)
• 43 horses have 1 medal out of 5 (43)

«HORSE OF THE TOUR» and THE «BEST MALE» TITLES — THE GCAT Americas 2025

Tasheem PMA (Taj Raheem × Chiara Luna by KM Bugatti, 2021 Bay), a four-year-old stallion bred by Patrick Mcginnis or Amy Voliva, US, is proudly owned by Theresa Lungwitz of Royal T Arabians and stands at Orrion Farms in Scottsdale, Arizona, US. Tasheem PMA was recognized for his commanding shows across the Americas series, culminating in the final event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The honorary title "Horse of the Tour" is awarded to the horse that collects the highest total points across all stages of the GCAT Americas series. As noted earlier, the stallion Tasheem PMA was one of the few to collect a set of four high-grade medals: three gold and one silver.
The stallion Tasheem PMA also won another prestigious title of the “Best Male” award of the American season.

THE «BEST FEMALE» TITLES — THE GCAT Americas 2025

Sedona AS (Dominic M × CW Sexxi by Exxalt, 2024 Bay), a yearling filly bred by Green Pastures Arabians Inc., US, and is now co-owned by Royal Arabians LLC and Arabian Soul Partners, US.
Sedona AS was also mentioned earlier: she collected four high-grade medals: two gold and two silver. This earned her the right to receive the honorary title of "Best Female Horse" in the GCAT Americas 2025.

The breeding success for the 2025 GCAT Americas champions is notably concentrated, emerging from a select group of only 8 countries.

A feature of the GCAT Americas was mentioned above: the participation of Brazilian breeders and horse owners was practically limited to one of the five stages – São Paulo. We should note it, acounting for the medals.

• The main part of success is concentrated in two countries in the Americas: the United States and Brazil. Below we will discuss the reasons that explain the rapid development of the Arabian horse industry in these countries.
